MAFELL BAT-V – Processing table with vacuum system for the HIT-M
The MAFELL BAT-V is a processing table for semi-stationary use of the portable HIT-M zero-joint edgebander. It supports workpiece guidance when edgebanding panels. A vacuum system holds workpieces for subsequent finishing operations.
Machining and Machine Configuration
The workpiece support has 42 ball transfer units. These can be repositioned to suit the workpiece shape and support the guidance of straight and free-form components. Angle adjustment allows bevelled edges to be processed at settings up to 55°; common angles can be locked in position.
The documented BAT-V equipment includes a vacuum system with a round vacuum plate measuring 160 mm in diameter. Actual edgebanding requires a separately installed HIT-M unit. The autumn 2019 offer pairs the table with a HIT-M 65.

These details refer to the table explicitly designated BAT-V in the autumn 2019 offer. Dimensions and weight of the tables called BAT or BAT+ in the main brochure have not been assumed to apply to the BAT-V.
Application and classification
The BAT-V complements the HIT-M to form a semi-stationary workstation for furniture and interior joinery. The ball transfer units help move workpieces, while the vacuum system holds them for finishing. Edging height, thickness and minimum internal radius depend on the HIT-M version used.
