DHB DH 600 – Universal shredder for wood waste
The DHB DH 600 is a single-shaft shredder for processing wood waste. A hydraulic pusher feeds the material towards a cutting rotor. With a rotor width of 600 mm and a hopper capacity of approximately 0.59 m³, the machine is designed for on-site wood waste reduction.
Operation and construction
The hydraulic pusher operates under load-dependent control and runs on wear-resistant plastic guides requiring no lubrication. The rotor carries 28 concave cutting inserts, each usable in four positions. A two-part counterknife with cutting edges inclined at 15° completes the cutting system.
The enclosed spherical roller bearings are positioned away from the machine body. Elastomer dampers support the gearbox mounting. The hopper and machine frame use reinforced steel construction.
A screen beneath the rotor influences the size of the shredded material. A removable extraction tray is standard equipment. A Siemens PLC controls the machine from a fan-cooled electrical cabinet.
