WEINIG 533 – CentroLock profile cutterhead
The WEINIG 533 is a CentroLock profile cutterhead for planing flat surfaces and profiling wood. Replaceable profile knives and versions with two or four cutting edges cover different profiles and materials. MDF machining is also specified with suitable carbide knives.
Machining and Machine Configuration
A quick-clamping bar with two lateral screws secures the knives. The knives can be profiled and resharpened. Grinding them in the cutterhead improves concentricity; resharpening on the knife backs is specified using WEINIG Rondamat 950, 960 and 970 grinders.
