WEINIG 530 – CentroLock reversible-knife planer head
The WEINIG 530 is a CentroLock straight-knife planer head for machining flat surfaces. It uses reversible knives with two usable cutting edges. Depending on the version, the cutterhead holds two or four knives.
Machining and Machine Configuration
A quick-clamping bar with two lateral clamping screws holds the knives. Knife changes require no additional setting device, and the tool diameter remains constant. HSS knives are specified for softwood, while carbide knives cover hardwood, tropical timber and MDF.
