Schleicher Perfect – Pneumatic frame stapling machine
The Schleicher Perfect is a pneumatically operated frame stapling machine for producing mitre joints in picture, mirror, cassette and furniture frames. The cut frame mouldings are first pressed together horizontally and then joined with triangular steel wedges.
The machine processes mouldings up to 90 mm wide and 90 mm high. Wedges with heights of 7, 10, 12 or 15 mm allow the fastening operation to be adapted to different moulding cross-sections.
Operation and construction
After horizontal pressing, the two frame mouldings are joined by a triangular steel wedge. The sharpened edges and special shape of the wedge produce a closed mitre joint while limiting damage to the surfaces and corners of delicate mouldings.
Depending on the height and width of the moulding profile, several wedges can be positioned on top of one another or side by side. The wedges are supplied from a disposable cartridge.
The stops for four-sided frames can be adjusted horizontally and vertically using graduated scales. Additional quick-change stops allow hexagonal and octagonal frames to be produced.
