HEMA Garant 600 – Woodworking bandsaw
The HEMA Garant 600 is a vertical bandsaw for sawing tasks in woodworking shops. With a wheel diameter of 600 mm, a cutting height of 355 mm and a cutting width of 565 mm, it is suitable for cutting timber to size and contour sawing with an appropriate blade. Its motor is rated at 2.2 kW.
Machining and Machine Configuration
The continuous bandsaw blade runs on wheels with vulcanised tyres. Upper and lower special roller guides support the blade in the cutting area. The guide bar can be adjusted mechanically in height to suit the workpiece.
A tilting work table and fence support different cutting tasks. Standard equipment includes limit-switch-protected access doors, a motor protection switch, an automatic brake, an extraction connection and a bandsaw blade. The wide-opening doors provide access to the bandsaw wheels.

Application and classification
The Garant range is intended for workshop tasks that do not require the maximum output of a production bandsaw. Within the range, the Garant 600 is identified by its wheel diameter and individual performance specifications. Permitted operating conditions and suitable tooling should be checked for the individual machine.
