FELDER FD 21 professional – Dowel and line boring machine
The FELDER FD 21 professional is a multi-spindle boring machine for dowel joints and hole rows in panel materials. Its drilling unit has 21 spindles at 32 mm centres and tilts pneumatically from 0° to 90°. This allows drilling in different directions for furniture and cabinet joints.
Machining and Machine Configuration
A welded machine stand and a solid cast iron table form the base. Two pneumatic hold-downs secure the workpiece during machining. Side fences with 420 mm profiles and two 1,500 mm fence rails, each with two stops, assist positioning.
Fence depth is adjustable on a scale up to 300 mm. An 8 mm drilling depth compensation simplifies setup for corner joints. Quick-change tool holders with bayonet locks assist tool changes.
